Both my insiders knew nothing of Dabrowski's engine going in so I think that still needs to be confirmed.

Otherwise most of the riders enjoyed the fast stage, but have headaches from the altitude and are doing their road books.
To me CDP seems to be a guy who likes to be left alone when trying to get things done, so probably wise to keep distance and not ask for autographs. ;)

That sounds tough. I hope he can make it through tomorrow and get the new engine put together. Manuel has a way of persevering...

1) Engine
The standard engine cases will be marked at scrutineering. All lose of markings will result in penalties up to Disqualification.
The preparation of the engine is free, with the exception of the main engine cases which must be strictly standard.
Repairs to the engine’s ’top-end’ are free during the event. All interventions to the ‘bottom-end’ (inside the main engine cases) will be considered as a change of engine.
Once removed and replaced by engine B, the refitting of engine A into the machine will be considered as a change of engine, in the same way as replacement by engine C.
The first change of engine will incur a 15’ penalty, the second a penalty of 45’, and all following changes a 2 hour penalty for each change.

just put the super top end on go!!

.
Might be trying to fix it before doing a swap, or at least checking out whats wrong.

Did someone say they could swap top ends with out penalty? I imagine CD has a few "Mods" in his that aren't in the other. So he'll ride on and swap tops tomorrow?

Alright, next theory, fellow conspiracy enthusiasts:

Dabrowski is shown having penalties accounting to +40min 46sec.

Is Dabrowski on his first engine did he already do a swap?

Is Cyril getting a rather fresh engine here?

Both my guys had not been aproached to donate their engines, so perhaps Dabrowski really did volunteer his engine. I doubt he did an engine change already though.
