Adventure Travel - Central Ontario gathering

It's that time of year again, where we start to lay out vacation plans & dates for the 2013 riding season.



I have talked with a couple of other Adventure Riders and we thought about getting together in January to throw some travel area ideas around.



Possible trips are parts of the Trans Canadian Adventure Trail, the Trans American Trail, a piece of the Continental Divide or roaming around states like Colorado, Idaho, Wyoming or Montana. Consideration to riding out to a destination will be given:

We have decided to meet this Friday night, January 18th, 2013 at Victoria Park Ave. & Hwy # 401 at 7:00 pm. I'm awaiting confirmation of the restaurant, coffee shop or pub and will post that later. At this point we have 4 guys committed to discuss upcoming potential adventure travel for this summer, as well as, socialize.

The pub I suggested we with at (Queens Head), is open for business. I just called them. It is inside the plaza at 2555 Victoria Park Ave.

Not to worry, I hope to summarize the meeting in notes and follow it up with an email to all those who have responded to my email request. At this point we have interested people who are not a part of the AdvRider family and who are unable to attend the meeting.

If we choose to head to the Western Rockies, it will have to be in July or August as you can get into snow in the other 10 months.
