Thanks. I have looked at them online, but you never know until you see them on a bike. I like that fat bob style better than the "axed" style. The axed tank looks awkward like it is just perched on the bike in my opinion.

I noticed the same thing out of my previous bikes. After a while the triple and/or the in-line 4s would tingle me to numbness. The Harley doesn't do that.....the throbbing doesn't numb me at all.

The goldwing was probably the smoothest bike I've ever owned, but talk about boring.

I had the same opinion about my Vstrom. Best all around bike I have ever owned, but boring.

^That giant carbon fiber heat shield dominates the bike!

Put a couple of small ventilated shields on it, and it's nearly perfect.

Or even better, shape a square numberplate over it. And is it just me or could those pipes stand to come up a little higher in the back?

But that's just nitpicky shit, it's a gorgeous bike. I've wanted a streettracker for a long time and that one's just about perfect.

Thumbs down? Really? You know not of what you speak. The bike has been given the Stegmann treatment. I am sure that several of the bikes in this thread have performance parts designed and manufatured buy him.
The owner wanted it to look stock.

I've been riding my '96 1200S like this for a couple of years.

Finally I got tired of burning my pant legs and not being able to carry anything, so.....
I put the pipes it had when I got it and the mid contols back on, bought a set of gun cases at the local sporting goods shop for $30 and welded up a set of brackets.

At least I can carry a flat tire kit, some tools and have space for a few more things.
Weather's going to be crappy for the next few days, so I'll be making a fender rack for it, too.
do you want to sell the supertrapps?

I hardly noticed it, I did however notice the headlight which I do not love. Beautiful bike regardless.

I also prefer smaller shields, this was what I did with mine. Wish I had the bike still. (And money to put a super bike bars on it)
