Wasn't on marathon day, but yes an entire SS was cancelled last year due to snow. A different day last year rains caused a shortening of stage.

Rumors is always that ASO uses weather to control attrition rate. Likely they do but sometimes itsfor good reasons...rain in a desert means flash floods in the terrain the rally uses.

I obviously ran into a lot of Kemal references when looking for 2013 Malle Moto riders. In fact I don't see anybody from Turkey this year? I'd really be curious if the bivouac were have a moment of silence, or loudness, for Kemal. I'd pay good money to see that.

Perhaps NO penalty. IF CDP spilts the cases and fixes le tranny, then maybe, but if it's a new/used engine put in, then I stand by it!!
