It was only muddy in spots.

That trials tire sucks. I was spinning it up hills in the mud on some of our roads (20 psi). Invisible Monster probably has some of the mud on that pretty 690R of his. Time for something knobbier.
Definitely was a good ride.

Were you mostly in Wayne Narional. We started west ofMarietta up to lowell over to Macksburg and then to The Wayne. Roads alot better than I expected.

So, did you find great trails where you couldn't get out of first or is it time for surgery?

I was off with friends cleaning brass from lead.

We rode a little loop I have mapped from Marietta to Woodsfield & back. Around 125 miles, mostly gravel, well mud today. If you ride the area regularly we need to get together. I know most of the dirt roads and love exploring.

Like a boss. No visible damage. But again, I was sliding on ice, so I could have been naked and I don;t know that I would have been too beat up.

This is my second one, the first just plain wore out after 6 years. I'd replaced all the zippers and all the velcro in it, and it was due for a second round of all that. The fabric was faded and the stitching was unravelling, and it smelled like ass. I ended up pulling the pads, selling them on Ebay, and pitching the jacket because no one would have wanted it. I then bought a gently used one of the same generation for $100 on flea market.

I'd buy another one.

The only bad thing I can say about it, actually three bad things, it's not 100% waterproof; the neck hole is cut for godzilla so there is an entry point for water and wind; and that generation of velcro isn't very good, it wears out fast and the jacket has velcro in places I think a snap would have made more sense. New ones may have remedied that problem. Also, Olympia customer service sucks; if you write to complain (as I did about a pair of gloves that disassembled after like two wearings) they just ignore you. If you write to compliment them (as I did a year or so after buying the first AST) they get right back to you.

Just got back from a ride. The three of us decided that we didn't have to go all the way to Wellsville to find mud, so we road some of the local places all afternoon. No crashes (glad you're OK Meef) at speed. We met a couple of jeeps in the one of the areas, so we decided to leave before we were run over. I did manage to get my handlebars out of alignment with the front wheel when the bike fell over as I was watering the trail. Going to look at it tomorrow.

Oh you did it, team red is going to get you now and make you agree that Hondas are the best bikes out there just because.

I was pretty impressed but 'Flagger's new CRF today. Hell of a bike if you ask me.

Trakmaster in 100/100-18 and Sedona MX887IT 80/100-21 for the front ordered. About $100 shipped for the pair. Should make the WRR go a little better in the mud.
