Vespa, Aprilia, and Piaggio are good scooter brands too!
I spend a fair portion of the year in Breckenridge, CO - I'm in Breck right now though the scoots are in the garage. Something about several inches of ice on the roads and -14f temps doesn't exactly make me want to take the BV off the tender and ride. :)

I would look for a People 125 or 150. They run forever and in my neck of the woods, are cheap when they pop up. Often the speedometer is in KM's so they have many less miles than appears!

Hey guys thanks for all the input. I believe as modnrod states that price is relevant to one's location. I was reading a thread where one member stated that the Denver area is pricer than most he has seen. SInce I'm north of that state it's even slimmer pickings. I do think that the weight/power ratio sweet spot for me is in the 150cc to 200cc area. As far as FI, who doesn't like it for the elevations? My Uncle has a honda 250 scoot for the last 20 years, no FI and it still runs fine, carbs can be cleaned. The used market here is fictitious. Ideally used would be the best route for me to dip into the water.

Thanks,

6
