Hey Mr Cash,
Bigborefan said there was an ADV running around Harrisburg. We'll have to meet up for a ride this spring. I am over near Pinckneyville. I enjoy the riding around Harrisburg, the ride to get to Harrisburg blows though. Nice Pix |

Look forward to it. Craiger lives over in Herrin, we ride pretty regular. Its pretty easy to spend a couple days just covering the Shawnee from river to river.

Black Hills
Me and Big Brian did a Black Hills trip two years ago. Did about 800 miles of gravel and dirt roads out there. Search this site and especially the GPS portion and you will find plenty of places out there to get offroad from mild to wild. I have a ton of GPS waypoints and tracks for that area another inmate sent me. PM me with your emaill addy if you want me to send them to you.

I spent Thursday and Friday in Georgia riding a rented KTM 300XC-W 2-Stroke on off-road single track. A buddy of mine from SC meet me at Highland Park near Cedartown GA. We had the place all to ourselves pretty much.
http://www.highlandparkresort.com/ This place is really cool. Out in the sticks, down a dirt road, really nice KTM shop is on the property, 5 cabins, and 41 one-way trails, about 85 miles total. The trails are mild to wild. Great place to ride dirt bikes in the winter.

Mud is evil William. And wet Georgia red clay is pure Hell. 45 degree off cambers, tree roots. covered in leaves, and it was wet. Let's just say I did some pushing...
I am ready to go back if anyone wants to go.

I accompanied William....
.....on a nice 2.5 hr "beat the weather" ride on little bikes on Saturday. Some of the gravel was INTERESTING, dry on top with a swimmy layer of freshly thawed muck under it. It was bad enough in one stretch that Bill stopped and asked if it was just his sucky stock tires that came on his new bike or....it wasn't, I was on 90:10 Pirellis on the DRZ and was all over the road on that stretch.
Anyway, let it be known that William's new Husk-a-beemer is super cool and unfortunately (for me) was pulling away from me and Dr.Zee even with him staying under his break-in RPM! He is going to be a land rocket once he can use the whole RPM range. Hind tit, here I come! KWC

This road was easy to ride fast on ![]() ![]() ![]() Well it was a dead end. I thought I was riding with vfrpilot. ![]() I found another curve. This is a notable event around here.
