Hello NE,
Here are a few of my pictures.

I'm not a big cruiser guy, but this bike was purdy. I could see riding this thing across the west!

My favorite bikes at the show were the race bikes. There is something art worthy of nothing-but-angry-speed on two wheels. Here's Hayden's Ducati with the carbon fiber swinger.

We all were drulling over the Husqvarna bikes under 500cc.

And of course, the Urals were also one of the biggest attractions for me. Seems to be the case for Tommymerle and Lutz too!

I hadn't been to the MSP show in about 5 years. It was nice to see a real shift in bikes. The chopper scene was almost non-existent, instead there were real world bikes gasoline and electric that most of us can actually ride and afford. To keep folks happen, Indian had a pretty nice showing of some of their new wares too! Thanks again Tom for the ride!

Test rode that bike last year at the AVR. I was skeptical with the mini ape hangers but was pleasantly suprised after riding. It has great cornering clearance and decent suspension travel for a cruiser.

Shindig!

Oh wait, it's only January 14 today. And it's darn cold. And my bike is buried in winter accumulation garage debris. And I am not set up for the winter riding season.

Summer riding season, please come back!

Hey Lutz, be careful that's my Husky 310 (in my dreams) you're sitting on.

Those guys behind you on the Ural seem to be concerned.

Good to see you guys there. The next time could be the 2013 Shindig but if things go right Greg and I will be in Alaska then. However, we're interviewing additional riders for the trip if anyone is interested.

Moonshine is KNOWN for bad weather. That's why it's scheduled so early. I'm not signed up but I'm 90% sure. Amish pie, yum!

I remember half of that ride last year! Unfortunately, I had to turn back the next day and head to the airport for work. 25 degree weather at midnight and more deer on the road than ever before! Then my headlight burned out....

I spent the night the following day in Duluth cause of the snow, riding across the Duluth/Superior bridge with my feet acting as outriggers dragging on fresh snow. Good times!

If I'm in town, I'll go. Though, I plan on taking the Great River Road down or back.

EDIT: I'm out. Just looked at my calendar, I have something that weekend already.

Lake Superior Tour...

I'm starting to think hard about tooling around the Big Lake this late summer. 6-7 days, so a little extra time to explore and smell the roses. More camp than hotel. Not afraid to go solo, but would prefer a couple others. Anyone been thinking about this one ??

Brent
