Do you happen tohave coords for the spot the tag was set?

Almost forgot...

On one of the roads nearby I stumbled upon this nice Chestnut tree!

The road and surrounding area was littered with chestnuts!

I had a GPS V once...

By the way, I got there by way of the gravel road across the river in my pic. A bit of weaving and bobbing through other gravel will get you back to the Ruth grab site, with only a little stretch of pavement on the way.

Yup, the iPhone pic has the coordinates in it's properties, here they are:

Lat: 38; 23; 16.2000000000117
Lon: 78; 19; 34.7999999999884
Altitude 285

Thanks! Maybe I can do some map work in the next few weeks. I think I'm about a year behind!

Thanks fatnbld for the coords. Not sure I'd trust that elevation (meters?).
I'll come out of the dark ages when I can buy a GPS with a large enough screen to actually read for about $150. I had my GPS V mounted on top of a roadbook at the very top of my 950 ADV windscreen. It was right up in my line of sight, but the tiny black and white screen (hmm, is that a creek or a road?), tiny and non-expandable memory, slow serial port didn't cut it even 5-6 years ago. My eyes haven't improved.
For now, there's a Va Gazeteer in the side bag if I really get lost.
Guess I could scale coords off of those maps.

So I just got caught up with copying pics and typing locations(for the most part) in a text file I've been keeping.

I see the current tag is number 274!

I haven't touched the map yet.

Although last year was kind of slow, if we can get another twenty six by April 13th that would average 100 tags per year, for the last three years. Not too shabby for a "moribund game"!

ive been busy as hell............might have to count on twohawks and bob for the tag goal. Ducati needs a rear tire already too.

Too bad the front tire isn't the same size as the back...since it never gets used.
