Can anybody in the circus tell me about the Chinese guy's bike, is it really Chinese, or a KTM with red paint? His bio is pretty cool:

Looks like I have some research to do on Peterhansel, thanks for that Desertboner!

S Berg, no worries about the best getting it wrong, it's more that Cyril was having a sook about all the people who follow him.....

He had a steering failure, which sent the car to the left and off the little gully on the side of the road. Was an odd one for sure but the failure was in the metal and not in the organic component.

I'm recording every SBS 5.30pm episode if anyone wants copies at the end I'll be happy to send them for the cost of the USB sticks and postage

Update: due to several PM's I'll add that I will need to check how much memory capcity will be needed and will post on here when I know how much space it takes up.

Cost: I want to add that for any copyright considerations, I am not seeking any compensation for this, I'm duplicatiing it for private use only and the only cost would be for the postage to you if you post me the USB stick. Due to the number of people that have enquired, I would rather you send me an empty USB stick.

Stay tuned for details

Yeah - I had to listen to his own commentary at least three times to see what he said - and he did say he "lost the steering" all of a sudden.

Rod F, sounds like he's having a blast, from his blog.

Rest DAY! Hello everyone. I'm briefly online In between shifts!
Well what a crazy few days. We have just come off 2days of marathon which meant we (all Moto riders) camped at a village last night at 4400meters high with no extra gear and no outside support over the entire last 2 days. In the last few days we have had heat, snow, wind, ice, a 4900 meter mountain crossing, a moto rider died, riders... surcoming to altitude sickness and crashing, rain (did I mention COLD!) and then today, with limited vision in the rain, all the riders that started up in the top 20 got lost!?!
It's was strange and rather funny to be wandering in circles in the mountains and running rivers - soaked - with the best rally riders in the world! This explains the erratic results from the last stage today. Some gained and I lost some, however just looking at latest overall results it looks like I'm up into 15th outright - so not all bad. Cheers for everyone's support. Rod F.

Brilliant pics and commentary on the blog. Good to see it from your angle rather than the official pics. Thanks.
