Yeah I'm having a great time making the Super T more off road oriented. Now is even better than in the previous picture, it's havig a 21" front wheel and enlarged rear suspension to increase the ground clearance.
In a couple of weeks is going to be ready to my next trip to Morocco!!

This is how it is now: a beast!!

I've been a couple of times in the Basque Country to do enduro, incredible rides!! mud, mud, mud....

Sorry to be so late for the party - I've read loads of topics, mostly technical, on Adventure Rider but always assumed that it's an American based thing!

So, my name is Simon and I've lived here in Catalonia since 1992, spending most of the warmer months in the Pyrenees and the winters in Tarragona city. But I've been batting around Spain pretty much every years since 1982, when a certain M. Thatcher made sure that I had a gap year after university - long before gap years were invented!

I took up biking again a few years ago after a break of about twenty-five year - so you could say I've had a bit of a gap life

Despite my Avatar name I'm not Spanish, the whole 'Spanish Biker' thing came about after I found myself answering loads of questions and PM's from various forums about riding here, routes, etc. that I started keeping notes to refer too. Then I was laid up with 'flu for a few weeks when there was a topic on the HUBB from a bloke planning to ride from Gibraltar back to the UK. The question was, "Anything interesting in Spain?" Blimey, I thought, how sad! So I started out with a 'virtual' big blank sheet of paper and two or three days later The Spanish Biker was born

I'm a bit lazy about posting my various adventure on the day - something I must catch up on as I've now ridden literally to the four corners of the Iberian Peninsula! Meanwhile the blog has led me in a new direction, organising the HISS off road rallies and soon leading various themed tours around Spain.

I suppose a picture is in order now - hope your monitors and screens are sound

That's me and my BMW G650 X-Country in touring trim having literally run out of road at the Cabo de Touriñan - just a bit further west than Cape Finisterre (Cabo Fisterra) and the 'genuine' end of the earth as far as mainland Spain goes!
