insurance guy just left.
they cover add ons to the bike, things that are affixed. So, the tank bag is covered by ins. but not the contents within. Cost of tank bag is a little over half my deductible,, so,, ,,have a nice day,,sorry for your loss. But WAIT! He has returned with a check to replace tank bag and fender bag, as my ass-essories are covered under a separate option, happy day

I don't think you explained just how costly and unique your tankbag was....

New meetup venue?
There was some discussion last night about moving the Wednesday meetup to a different location. The theft of Peterman's ride from the OP has left a sour taste for some of us. That, and the OP food, service, and surroundings leave a bit to be desired. Time for an upgrade, perhaps?
When the Bier Stein opens at its new location, it should be worth a try. I can state from experience that their food is good. However, their opening is probably still months away. Other ideas? Something towards the west side to make it easier for the Monkeyclan attendance was mentioned. ![]() ![]()

Bier Stein....
They're moving into the old L&L building at 16th and Willamette I believe, I say it's a winner. I have always liked that space. A group of local riders use to meet their on Sunday mornings for many years when it was the L & L. Time to revive that tradition, but on a Wed evening.... Well and maybe Sunday too? PS.... and no more driving to South Eugene is a plus Hay.. and Mac's at the Vets Club is across the street ... we could meet their until the Bier Stein opens? Plus.. Newman's Fish and Chips is next door.... YES! .

I don't mind the OP, but I'm not thrilled or impressed by it either. It's just another bar. I wouldn't have made it last nite anyway,,being broke has become a habit, I can't even afford to stay home!
I like our group of folks no matter where we meet. Other patrons at any establishment are merely there for our entertainment, they can never be as cool as we all are! I don't usually attend for the food anyway, so it's not that important to me. other spots,,hmmmm,, When the bier stain opens, it will be packed with people wall to frikken wall,,I may go there once. Tiny tavern has had a re-do, but I have not been there. Overtime is decent, black leather and chrome. the Keg used to SUCK goat shit thru a garden hose! McShame's wasn't too bad, the Pour House is roomy, has good bar food, I ain't never been into the Goshen tavern for 20 yrs., and we've had this discussion forty times at least. So,, somebody wanna call it for next week, then what happens to those who didn't get the memo?,,and there we are again,, Wanna try the Overtime next wendysday? ![]() they have pool league on tues, and blues jam on thurs,, but wendysday is quiet and wide open. Won't matter,,I'll problly be broke then too,,
