What is also clearly obvious when you actually put yourself in to the arena instead of commenting from behind a keyboard is how terrifying riding at speed is in the desert! I have the utmost respect for these guys and how they feed their families and if you were to witness them at full chat, 170kms over rocky ground then you may not be so quick to judge them when they are in their 'zone'.
A lot rests in their hands at the DSS, not least their life and livelyhood.
Let's be thankful we still have true heroes in this sanitised world!

Ivan has had some tough luck in the past. He is riding remarkably consistent the last 6 days and has been ramping the speed up a bit every day. Seems to be riding within himself for now so if the bike holds up, it will be very interesting finish.

Hi mate, you hit record, and nothing happens. Then you hit it again and it finishes recording. You will have a video dropped into "My Documents". It caught me out too. I recorded like 40 little 3 second videos before I figured it out!
Once you hit record, go to My Documents, you will have a VLC file there created just then, and it will be like 264kbs in size. Then when you end the recording all that info updates.
