Fortunately, at this stage of our lives, Maturity has provided an ample supply of additional, natural padding. We arrived at the end of it with relatively little bruising, except to our self-image, mental health, tender psyches and over inflated egos.

Otherwise, we were just fine. Really.

Thanks for the encouragement. Realistically, we would only be considered "experienced" by Jimmy Hendrix' standards. If we were furniture we'd be "distressed" or perhaps even "antiqued." A used car? Obviously, previously-owned. As real property, we'd be "derelict" or perhaps even "abandoned."
