Well put. Totally dig how the OP rolled a busa on this one; not a lot of people would do that. Id be hesitant to take my Bandit to Alaska, let alone a busa. Every bike has its own character, and every bikes character changes based on where it is being asked to go.

When I was up there the best line I heard was :
Ladies, if you want to get married go to Alaska.
The odds are good . . . but the goods are odd !

Guess I'm a little late to the game, but I hope not too late to add my hearty congrats for both a great ride and a great report. Awesome, inspiring stuff. You've reminded us that the spirit of adventure is in the rider, not the bike. Thanks!

124 pounds, 5'4, female, solo, Alaska, Alaskan Gravel on a Busa, with awesome pink hair...I have no excuse now, for anything. That ride report was one of my favorites.
