Nobody has done it yet this year. We will see if Le Patron has not lost anything and can win this stage from the front

The terrain was not difficult to drive "a couple" but we have been very slow, about 80 km / hour to not fall over, yet we have fallen several times, it is impossible not to fall. Finally we reached the last goal of the classification, but it was worth, Laia is a great champion and companion, he deserves to be in the race. This is the Dakar, an adventure every day. Almost no time to think about what happened today, and we are already thinking about tomorrow. We must continue, it is important that the whole team are in the race and we have little to reach Santiago de Chile. Laia is a champion and he deserves to be in the race. "

At 7.45 AM local time, Cyril Despres started the day's stage ahead of Joan Barreda and Alessandro Botturi. 357 kilometres against the clock await the bikes and the quads on a route different to the cars and trucks, even if the two routes include a considerable amount of shared mileage

See how long tracker takes to work

Yesterday evening there was a rumor that someone had heard from Pål Anders Ullevålsäter that CDP was switching engine again. Earlier today there was a rumor that someone har heard from "reliable sources" that CDP in fact had not switched engine.

It's looking more and more like a soap opera. =)

Casteu quote from yesterday, says he's going home

I was roughly at km 100 and riding calmly, without pushing it too hard. I was hot on the heels of Pedro Bianchi when a cow popped out of a turn. I hit it with the handlebar and fell hard on my shoulder. My fuel tank got a hole in it, so I quite obviously ran out of petrol. Vincent Guindani gave me some and I managed to finish the first part. The doctors strapped my shoulder so I could start the second special, but my motorcycle stopped 30 km from the finish. I think it was a sign: I had to stop. It wasn't worth it. I wanted to fight at the front. I already had my fair share of bad luck in 2011 and 2012. I'm going back home tomorrow. It's a hard blow. One day you're crying of joy and the next you're crying of pain and sadness.
