Playing catch up...

Fuel will boil tomorrow. There can be no question.

Last year this was the most technical stage of the rally and also my favorite. Lyndon will most likely enjoy it as well. There was some fesh-fesh, some soft sand, and some tighter riding... quite enjoyable for the folks who don't like WOT across dunes. Navigation was not trivial but not terrible.

My prediction is a good day for both Kurt C and Lyndon tomorrow. Fingers crossed!

I so appreciate your viewpoint, Ned.

No engine change for Faria as yet and only 1.37 behind, what to do? Change and ok, not change but risk a breakdown in his support of Cyril and have to lose time to stay behind? I suspect a change coming up, they won't want to risk not supporting CDP

No engine changes either for 3 & 4 or from 7- 12 - are they going to change or not - maybe last night before
the dunes again, will certainly close things up

Just a thought to add a little more value, as the last note of each day, could you include a single post which specifies what page number the cliff notes take you to in this F5 thread up to this point?

This would allow someone to read yesterdays cliff notes and then see "This takes you to page 867 in the F5 thread." so we know where we need to start reading from to catch up on today's activities?

Once again, many thanks for your efforts - greatly appreciated.

Kind regards,
Fin.
Great idea, Fin, and easy to implement!

EDIT: In case the page doesnt' get posted, you can follow the "quote link", too.

Was just looking at those numbers earlier. If one of the lead guys has a mechanical of any sort, Jakes is in position to podium. He's been quietly getting the job done.

He also said that the stage has been shortened to 190 kms tomorrow. It was booked as 221 kms on special, I wonder if that 30km loop in the dunes has been removed. Numbers match.
Good catch.

We always knew that Robby had figured out that the throttle has an 'On' position.
