Allen when should I dropp it off . I thought I would get you to fix it if you have time.
Damn! Does yours look that bad?

If Noah keeps riding that bike, he'll be replacing the cam too.

I think I'll stay with a Suzuki.

As good as ADV is, http://www.klr650.net/forums/ is a wealth of info for our bikes, if you aren't there already.

Thanks they are pretty sturdy. It's not DAN, just a dive flag. I haven't done any diving since my certification a few years ago though.

I do a many things and have even more interests.

Guys since I'm new to the KLR. What oil should I be using and how often does it need changing?

Any tips on a good shop in Lynchburg for a state inspection?

I'm in King, NC, I frequently ride up around Old Pipers Gap Rd. and lover's leap but I'm really wanting to go off road and get the hang of it. (King is North of Winston-Salem)

Many will recommend Rotella. I recently switched to Rotella synthetic and I seem to be using a bit less oil than I had been with dino oil.

I should add that I switched from Rotella dino to Rotella syn. I've never had a problem with dino, but like I said, I seem to be burning a bit less.

What's the mileage on yours?

Thanks for the clarification. I'll assume I get it at any of the automotive stores?

Gents. The Rotella I'm finding is Shell. Is that correct? Also it says heavy duty diesel....
