The bikes

Thinking about the bikes so I looked up this years regulations where it states for the A.S.O. elite and non-elite groups that the engine capacity is restricted to; Cubic capacity up to 450cc, single or twin cylinder.

Two questions:
1) most are 450 singles, are there any twin's that you know of ?

2) Now that electric machines are here and competing, how do they rank to a combustion cubic capacity? Do they run in their own class completely?

3) Do you think we will ever again see a class of bigger bikes or experimental concept class? Or are those days now reserved for "Legends of Dakar"??

Happy Friday!

3) Do you think we will ever again see a class of bigger bikes or experimental concept class? Or are those days now reserved for "Legends of Dakar"?? A thing of the past..that being said tons of rallies where folks still use them, just not in the Dakar

Happy Friday!

Well there's an E-ATV running in the ATV class and is currently running 19th overall, so just figure it's only a matter of time until the same is with bikes.

Not saying I like it, but it's only a matter of time.

Sooo disappointing for Don that he's out again!

Go Pat go!! He's doing very well in 62nd right now.

Which reminds me what's happening with your Dakar book Deadly?
