Patrick Beaulé, Aldo Racing/KTM Canada #154 finished 85th yesterday with a 20 min. penalty. Not sure what the penalty was for? Pat was 62nd today, the same as his overall position. He's hoping to finish in a top 60 position for his first Dakar on a bike.

Yvan Turcotte, also supported in part by Aldo Racing and driving Rallye Raid Int'l Man truck #568 finished 40th yesterday for a 55th position overall in his 1st Dakar as race driver

No, but I am mad as hell with the 3 plus hour penalty they gave Kurt Caselli for something that gave him no advantage whatsoever...... Same as with Robbie Gordon last year.....

You can't compare Baja and Dakar. Oh and BTW, Chuck Sterns never won in Baja nor has Kurt for that matter. Chuck still remains the top American Dakar rider with six stage wins in 1985.
