Raid Twalcom Final Drive Protector Install?
Got one of these plastic version protectors after I already scratched the FD on a simple tip over...the black plastic unit looks to have good scuff coverage, but I can't manage the install.
I can't hold the inner metal anchor in place while installing the bolt. What's the secret? |

I can't see it but going by your description, could you put some sticky grease on the nut to hold it in place?
or a dot of superglue (not a blob) |
