ADV-Friendly Home Near UW

My wife and I are looking for a place within a reasonable bus, bicycle or walking commute to the Health Sciences building at UW. I'd prefer a place that has some sort of protected parking for two motorcycles. One or two bedroom ok. Must be ~20 lb dog friendly, too. A mother-inlaw or shared house situation may work.

When I worked at UWMC, Sand Point isn't too terrible. If you can get to Children's, you could take the HS Express or the bus.

We're heading down tomorrow to search. UW has a service to help faculty/staff find housing. Have I mentioned that Seattle is not my favorite place on earth? It's better than LA, but only slightly.

I've been thinking of subletting my apartment out (lease ends in july, but a job opportunity takes me to AK soon, and I wont be done till August... ) it's a studio in Ballard- near the Locks- right on a bus line and the burke gilman trail, which goes right to UW... dogs ok, and I have already paid the dog deposit! (for a 17 lb weiner dog) there is a parking lot, each spot is rentable- my bike actually sits a block away at free street parking...

message me if interested, otherwise, good luck hunting!

I think the 45 goes right in front of HSC, IIRC.
