Yes, and above I posted the two or three options at the top of my list that I am trying to decide between, and, as usual, someone comes in with a suggestion from outside those bounds and then gets their feelings hurt when everyone doesn't agree with them... I don't have to scratch my head. I'm used to it...

BTW, they look really good on a Super Tenere!

Even the blue ones.

Pro's
Absolutely Waterproof
Narrow for the volume
Can move foreword and back to accomodate passenger
Pretty tough
Powder coated inside and out
Best looking

Con's
Can be a huge pain in the ass to install due to piss-poor instructions
Kind of heavy

I did look at some Jesse boxes, as they fit the contour of the exhaust and sit a bit closer than some I've considered.

Edit: Just went back to the Jesse sight... 9" and 10" boxes but the top box is a bit awkward and appears to require a plate over the passenger seat?!?

That's an accessory plate that replaces the seat. It also has a toolbox under it I think. The top box bolts to a separate plate that replaces the factory luggage rack IIRC. I don't know for sure since I've never considered a top box really.

I was actually just messing with you since you didn't say they were ones you were considering, hence the ... In all seriousness I couldn't be happier with mine

Come on now BW. That's simply not true. Roy doesn't have feelings.

Any hard bag is a potential leg breaker. Have you looked at any of the waterproof soft luggage? Some of it is really nice. Then you can go with a solid lockable tail bag.

If not... I like the looks of the black plastic ones in this pic and by all I've read, the quality plastics hold us as well as the aluminum, but some aluminum sets are lighter. Bottomline is, get what you want and tell the rest of us to funk off. Oh wait. You already did that.
