Worried for Manuel again, remembering his long, long day in Copiapo last year..

Anyone know what's happening to Thomas Berglund?

EDIT: Found the answer on his website. Apparently his engine seized on km 122, and he's out:-(

KURT CASELLI-
"It’s not just the navigation that is new for me at the Dakar. At this race you are on the bike so much because of the long liaison sections before and after each stage. At the Dakar you’re on the bike all day and your butt gets very sore. There’s nothing easy about the Dakar, in terms of mental fatigue I haven't done anything like this before."

long liaison sections it´s like go riding from home to Hare and Hound races or from LA to Baja/Ensenada and come back late night!!!

Well done Cyril, muddyboy
I've just forgot all the mud situation.

Hmmm ... I note that (on Mischa's Monitor display) Manny's time at CP2 is +02:19:45 but WP4 time is +02:32:34. I don't see any other instances in which those two times don't match and have no idea what that means.

Don't think so; for all other riders the time at WP4 and CP2 are equal where there is a time at WP4 (some iritrack times not shown, as usual) and both times are listed for Manuel.
