Actually I usually end up last too - I know my limits and I'm not eager to fall off. Maybe deersSlayer should join our team, the name of which is "Arrive Alive". You're welcome to.

Deerslayer, just remember to stand up in the rough stuff and it'll all be good.
hope to see you again this year

That's Forseti's bike. From near Kingston. Check the Kingston thread to see his posts. I don't think he was signed up last year. I get the impression he just showed up on Thursday night.

Thanks for all the encouragement, suggestions and invites!

I know my limits too, and quickly realized on last year's ride that standing up in the rough sections raised those limits!

But I am starting a 2 week road trip that weekend or on the following Monday, so I won't risk an off road riding injury.
Speaking of injuries, I hit my first deer heading down to the RCR in June 2003. Maybe off road riding is safer for me!

I hope there's another Roaming Rally in 2014, because overall I had a great time on the 2012 ride!

i like that there are more rules and controls this year.

It gives me something to break and not follow ... like trafic signs!

That was me... I stopped in last year since the campground was just a few Km from my house. No I didnt run the rally last year ( I have ridden the Ontario portion of last years route many times... ) and wont be again this year thanks to scheduling difficulties with work.
Perhaps next year.......

June? Joo ooonne where are you!? So done with winter. Spent the last week outside, finished with fall through ice drills. Cutting through 2.5' of ice was a pain in the ass but the water was quite refreshing.

Waiting on my rad guards and new boots to arrive then I'll be waiting on some sun shine so I can roll up the garage door, turn on some tunes and give the bike a good clean up and going over to ready it for the season.
