Just because I said it would be dangerous, doesn't mean you shouldn't do it. This is Advrider, after all...

Dear Pioneer:

I look forward to reading about your last, er, I mean next adventure! I've often thought of putting knobbies on my K12GT, but then I sober up. maybe new Anakee 3, but probably not avail in you size since NOBODY WANTS TO DO THIS.

Seriously, the cost of plastic side panels being what they are, I think this could be an expensive experiment, or are you going to add crash bars too? I also hope you are adding a lower first gear so your clutch life works out.

Most important, what type of adventure clothing do you need to wear for this mixed use scenario?

Hmmm...lets see since the busa is primarily a " poser" bike after all, definitely an Icon jacket, flash helmet with mirrored visor, but with sidi canyon boots, and oylimpia pants but with short inappropriate not armoured non insulated gloves.

Waddya think......?

Pirelli Scorpion Trail - they are the stock tire on the Ducati MultiStrada. They are a sport touring tire with extra deep treads though, not semi knobbies.

Sounds pretty good, but don't forget to bring your girlfriend, who should be wearing a string bikini and high heels.
