FYI,,,we back up what we build,and even pray for our riders success and safe return....since this was such a special deal, we sort of put this lil altar up,,,got out all the swag and good luck omens lit the votive candles and ....had our eve of final stage vigil a few minutes ago after learning ya made it home today....kinda looked like this:

FYI #2,,yesterday,,,Kevin Muggleton #186 arrived safely in Denver,,,albeit a bit banged up with several broken vertebrae. We'll be catching up with him in next few days.

He cleared the stage @ 1509L. 204 km liaison. Call it 1800L by the time he hits the biv. Service, roadbook, couple of meals, shower. Earliest 2100L that gets done. He's been great with always calling in for a couple of minutes, bet he did before he racked out (2300L there now).

But with Nate on a fambly sabbatical, and Flood living on the wrong side of the ocean...yeah, expect something around 0100 est.

Edit: Hope your wife don't catch you, Nate.

Agree, impressive patience to give the repair time to set, impressive skill to make back a lot of time and impressive cohones to trust the repair. Glad it worked out and he's still in the race.

I don't think Pyndad had to deal with it. WP suspension had a factory support truck there, and they repaired Lyndon's forks for him. How's that for customer service?!

An upbeat Lyndon calls in on the Penultimate day of the rally. After his miraculous (and rally-saving) mechanical repair yesterday, he started well down the field today and had to contend with a lot of dust, passing 40 bikes and quads through the course of the stage. One day to go, and Lyndon knows it's not over until the finishers medal (which is satisfyingly heavy, as Ned Suesse informed us last year) is in his hand. Keep it steady, Lyndon, and thanks for the ride!

Yeah heard that in Pyndon's great call-in.

WP had their rep on the line there, so I'm sure they fixed it pronto.

Pyn sounds a bit tired (who wouldn't be!) but still his calm collected self. I'm sure he will finish in style.

To be fair, she was passing Flood's RallyRAIDio tweets/FB posts on to me as we were driving in the car, before we lost service.

Sorry to have missed the day, but I really can't complain. I've skied a lot of awesome places in my time, but none of them have been as rewarding as cruising greens and blues with PackKid #1. Third time on skis, and she's ripping it (we shouldn't be surprised, she started riding a bike w/o training wheels at 2 1/2 yrs old).

I imagine Lyndon and PynDad would approve of my absence:
