Today, Beaufort County, North Carolina board of commissioners passed a nullification resolution in support of the 2nd Amendment. The vote was unanimous. The resolution reads, in part:

The Beaufort County Board of Commissioners calls upon the Governor and General Assembly of the State of North Carolina to immediately pass an act to nullify the implementation within the State of North Carolina of any Federal law, executive order or regulations restricting the right to keep and bear arms

I agree and while I absolutely love the comparison between O and Hitler it is historically known that tenets of the Nazi party are based on right wing ideology.

Does this mean Obama is actually a Rep ?

Hatch and any others in the know: Please explain to me how any politician, commission, government leader, judge, governor, mayor, congressman, sheriff, etc. can back the population who wants to arm themselves against the Govt. that may want to overthrow the people? Don't those in power, the ones able to pass these laws, realize they are the Government the armed ones are afraid of losing their rights and guns to? Just asking. Probably didn't make any sense, but did you get the gist of the question? Just who are we supposed to be afraid of within our government? Who are we arming ourselves against? People, agencies, places, departments, etc.? Where are all these armed to the moon people supposed to be aiming their guns at? Etc.? Just asking.

That's easy. The ones with the power to take your right to bear arms do not play by the rulebook. They will not give up their armed body guards, or their own right to bear arms, they just want to take our rights away so they have even more power.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe you can get a license to carry in places such as NYC. You just have to prove that you have a "need", meaning that you are a judge, lawyer, business owner who transports large sums of cash...In other words, rights are not denied to the rich.

You aim your guns at the people who are coming to take them, that is a start. If you are smart, you will be long gone by the time they show up at your house.
