Weather can be damn cold that time of year but easy to warm up with good drinks and having fun at the dunes with a fine group of ADVers Hopefully we will get lucky and have perfect weather. On a plus side it damn sure shouldn't be crowded

Get your paddle tires on and get it

I'm in unless something goes wrong.

We went once in February and there were only two other people there. They left early and we had the dunes all to ourselves.

Just so happens that my "new" KDX came with a brand new sand tire for the front. "What the hell am I going to do with that in Arkansas," I thought to myself. Maybe it was fate all along.

After reading and posting in this thread, I had to dig out my little sahara vhs tapes last night. It brought back some very good memories. Have fun guys.

I have a couple of 19" rear paddle tires that I might be willing to loan out to a responsible person.

Yep, plus most of us will need a 17 or 18 (don't think they make 17's). I will gladly buy a used 18 if anyone has one......

I sure hope Ralph's gonna make it. It should be a bit less painfull than this:

I heard, that wide tires float really well on sand. Should I bring the CBR?

I was wondering the same thing........since I took the picture....... I am going to need to check with my legal department.

We may need to discuss how we are going set up our bivouac.I am going to need space to park Honda's Team HRC support truck. They will be on hand to service my XR during the event.

I think maybe I might as well just bring my new bike and try it out in some sand.
