food in the area

There are a couple ok places to eat fairly close.

Right across the street from the dealership is the Brownstone. Its quite an upgrade over the dive that used to be there. Very comfortable environment and the food is decent. Music inside can be loud but that is only late at night.

If you venture into town there is Main Street Tratorria which is a very informal Italian restaurant. It is BYOB. This is what we use to cater our fall open house.

There is also an Irish pub on main street in Metuchen. Haven't been there but have heard good things.

A google of any of these places will give you an address.

We are expecting a good crowd so please try to arrive early.

Thanks

Bill

Can I bring my tickt on my phone?

Or is it necessary to have a paper ticket?

Ticket on your phone is fine. The tickets give us an idea of how many people are coming so we have enough seating for everyone.

Weather not cooperating for tonight.
I will be there, might be looking for a place to stay closeby after the event to avoid the drive back to Souf Jerzee in the snow.

Tony Huegel who is seen in the film is a friend of a few of the local inmates, me included.

If you are planning a route anywhere in the west you should connect with Tony. He can make specific recommendations for a route to fit your time, desires and riding skills.

Click the links in my sig to connect with Tony.

Thumb Thanks for "Hosting"...

Bill & Cross Country,

Thanks for hosting the COBDR last night. It was a packed house, despite the snow (more the threat of snow than the actual snow! Iin fact, keeping my windshield clean from all of the SALT they layered down on 287 was the only real driving hazard ).

Thanks also for the 15% discount on everything in the store (except bikes )! Got to try on the Alpinestars Tech 3's I've been contemplating, to confirm the fit and ordered a pair with the "All-terrain" sole. Got to try 'em on and walk around a bit vs. random guess off the internet, you guys ordered the specific version I wanted and still honored the 15%, plus no Shipping fee. Sounds like a "Win" for me . In fact, I was so happy I bought a pair of pants too - to celebrate ...

Bottom-line: Good film on the COBDR. Good crowd. It was a good night, overall, and thanks again for hosting it (Liked the price too = FREE!)

Brendan
