I had a family of mice nesting in my air box. They had ran down the intake, through the carb and somehow squeezed through the open valve to make a little nut store in the L/H cylinder. I was amazed when I saw it, shame I had to replace the cylinder as it had rusted where they had pee'd!

I bought a 250 Ducati Monza years ago, at a garage sale. It had the spark plug removed, and had been outdoors. Something had put it's youngster into the cylinder via the plug hole, and fed it until it was too big to get out.
Nothing but bones, when I took it apart.

Rear suspension on a 60's Triumph I bought years ago. The previous owner though it looked really cool

This lovely speciman sported "mini apes".
An overstuffed short-shag carpeted seat.
A fender mount trailer hitch...the PO had bolted a big chunk of scrap iron under the fender to reinforce it.
The front alloy turn signal housings had big holes drilled in them and fairing support bushings / brackets bolted in.
The right valve cover had a giant blob of epoxy bandaging a (probably) fatal wound.
There was a big hole drilled in the frame below the seat, on the left side, with a plastic pulley bolted up...evidently the PO had a cable / pulley system to retract the side stand.
The throttle grip was one of those ones with a vertical "tumor" eminating from it.
There were probably 5 different places on the frame with various chunks of metal welded on...washers, angle irons, and other unknown tid bits.
Sometime in its' life it "mated" with a Suzuki.....
The throttle control was Suzuki, with a jury rigged throttle cable.
The stock MotoMeter face plate had a Suzuki odometer / speedometer grafted into the unit.
On the MotoMeter faceplate, the owner had scratched the function of each dummy light in the bezel....and his handwriting was very poor....
The rear tail light was a vintage Suzuki "GT" issue.


I fully expected to find a hole in the fuel tank with a dipstick, but no.....maybe that was the next modification on the list before the PO went to the funny farm...

I don't have a picture, but when I went to look at a 1973 BMW R75/5 advertised on the local craigslist ($3800 "runs great") I found headers that had been beaten into the heads with a hammer, no battery box (it was tied to the frame with a bungee cord and cracked), bent forks, thumb prints in the bondo on the tank (which still had dents), headlight with multiple coats of sagging, cracked, peeling rattle can paint, instrument cluster painted black, mismatched front fender and it barely ran with the choke lever 1/2 on ("it runs better that way") etc
