when we ran dogs i would hunt on my XR200R i had in high school. just threw my gun on my back with it's sling and would ride from one stand to the next through out the day.

My cruiser buddies Jim and Di wanted to continue our Ride to eat tamales tour today.

We stopped by here first - too early for Tamales, too late for a biscuit.

Next stop - Winterville Mounds to stretch.

Then "going down to Rosedale" - actually up but doesn't make as good a song. The historic White Front Cafe. Should have moved the bikes in front of the building but there was a no parking sign (that only applies north of the building according to the owner).

The tamales were much better than Fat Mamas - Di could eat them and couldn't eat Fat Mamas. Good spices and shredded meat rather than ground. I thought they were decent but still favor the Tamale Place or Solly's.

Good day for a ride up Hwy 1 and backroads home as far as Arcola, then Hwy 61.

I'm a tamale lover but have only really eaten tamales in Vicksburg for 30 years (there's a chance that I might be too biased) and need places to plan rides around that my buddies and I can all enjoy.

Nothing nobel here - just looking for a good time.

Post up when ya'll might get to Onward tomorrow, and I will try to make it up there if I survive my stress test in the morning. Hate that we got no tamales there yesterday since they are supposed to be good.
