F800 GS odometer record ?

Hello ADV's,

I am planning to sell my tiger 800 and go for the 800GS.
I found a nice 2nd hand one with ALL the farkles I want but it has about 25000 km's on it (15500 miles) on it.

What is about the highest mileage the 800 gs's have by now that we know of ..?

I am sure somebody has passed the 100.000 km mark since 2008 ..?

thx for the help !

Omen

There were guys past the 100,000 miles mark two years ago. I have 25,000 on my 2008 and I've only ridden it 137 days.

Switching from the tiger to the GS? I like you already

I remember someone passing the 127.000kms and another one being pretty close to that.

Last summer I met someone who had bought his 3. 800GS because the other two had passed the 100k bar too. He's "working" in his spare time for an association to find new tracks in africa and is guiding groups too... Needless to say that he's having a lot of fun .

He is a specialist in Orthopedic surgery in Vienna and did an operation on BMW head chef's wife. He told me that he gets a nice discount now

I think it was diesalboy that had over 127000mi on his when he totaled it. I don't remember any higher than that.

I think there is a thread here on this subject.
