I'm a big fan of Gordon's driving spirit/skills and American bad a$$ attitude. But just look at the standings in the last decade. How often has a 2 wheel drive won Dakar? Heck, just look at the top 5 of this year or even Robbie's standings. If he wants to win, he needs to drive a 4 wheel driver period.

Robby said it best, don't choke on day 1 in the Dakar, that's how you win. He does have a 4x4 for the King of the Hammers, it might carry over, but I doubt it, he seems pretty committed to 2wd.
