biggsxr, thanks for the great meet up. Nice to meet everyone and see who was crazy enough to ride in the cold. Hope we can do it again when the weather is warmer and add a ride.

Sorry i missed the meet-up I was changing bars on my bike and one thing leads to another. Just got done watching a video of wb5ply at wade road that man and his riding partner have got some moxie.

Heres a story about a man named Marc a poor farm boy barely kept his family feed. He was out riding dirt bikes and four wheelers one day with his kids when up from the ground came a bubbling growth spurt. Missouri teens that is. Young adults. Well the next thing you know Marcs all alone and his kids say dad you need to move to a new adventure. So Marc loaded up up his truck and moved to adventure. adventure riding that is. To make a long story longer. Im new bought a klr 650. That was the anti now setting up with gear and add ons. WOW. not cheap any advice would be greatly appreciated.Im hoping to be out riding first of March and looking forward to joining in on the rides you all post. You sound like a great bunch.

Congrats on the KLR. Lots of good Adventure type riding here in Central MO. Let the weather shape up and we will do some riding. Putting a new tire on the DR 650 today.

welcome! I second the KLR note. they are great. and bikes are much like kids and boats. you just keep pouring money at them for all the little goodies. or at least it is an easy habit to get into. but remember the best thing you can buy for your bike is gas.

Just got back from a 80 mile dirt ride down and thru the Missouri River Bottoms. Nothing like a new tire to get you riding. It's really not that bad here in Central Mo.

See "Missouri adventure riders" thread. Looks to be a nice ride coming up. SBR. Thought I would pass it along, Don't know if any "Centra" riders look to the East.

Maybe a bunch of us can meet up and ride over to the SBR ? Never been able to make it, and it looks like I'm off that weekend.
