Thanks all for the best day I've had riding a motorcycle yet! I can't wait to do more days like this in the future. This is the only picture I managed today on my phone when we were sitting around:
![]() And here are the 2 videos I got from my helmet cam before the incident that snapped it off of my helmet mount.....Thanks to Jeff for helping me retrieve it! Just the gravel road section in the beginning (Barry is in front of me and Jeff is in the rearview on that crazy machine of his): And the one you all really wanted to see...: Special thanks to Mike for using his foot to push my rear brake lever back into place after it wrapped back around the footpeg from that..... And I swear I am tempted to go back to that restaurant tomorrow and try to get her number just because now I feel like I let you all down! We shall see what happens...I'll keep you all posted.

Looks like you guys had FUN !
LBL sure seems like it has some good fun touring DS and lots of it. Glad you were OK on that get-off.....looks like you had a little bit of speed going .And of course Baha Doug was nowhere to be found, he was too busy getting something to eat: . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

It was my first time riding in real mud I believe. Like I said to the guys there today, I feel like I learned more today than I did in the 6 months I've been riding. Definitely off-road but even on just seeing other people take corners quick gave me more confidence that the bike would hold and allowed me to improve the feel.

GREAT DAY OF RIDING! 167 mile day for me. Kept it on two wheels all day, much to my surprise. It was SOOOO cold when I left the house I serriously considered turning back after 3 miles, glad I stuck it out & met up with you guys. Best day of riding in months & can't wait to do it again.
I've got to put the skeleton door back on my gopro housing because the wind shear was so bad on my video that it made the footage an endurance exercise to watch. I'll put some of it to music & post later. -Barry |

I'm really bad about remembering to take pictures, but I have an excuse this time. I gave Troy my SD card for his GoPro, hopefully he got some good footage.

I normally carry my camera around my neck and snap pics as I go. But, with winter gloves and bouncing around off road, I never bothered to take it out of my pack.
We'll just have to do another ride and make sure to take more pics next time..... |

Well Barry had a GoPro on....it's almost like the world conspired against us to not take pictures. No memory cards, crashing into the ground and breaking it off a helmet, cold weather....I guess it will forever be one of those rides you'll understand if you were there...YOU HAD TO BE THERE MANNNNNNN!!
