Help from people around Jackdon, MS re: MHC ride

Hello,

Looking to make a winter ride of the MHC (MS Hill Country ride) in the next couple of weeks.

With all of the recent heavy rain I was wondering if this trail would be passable anytime soon?

Still getting river flood alerts around Jackson, MS on the weather channel.

MHC roughly parallels I55 going North from Madison, MS to Batesville, MS on mostly dirt roads.

Thanks in advance for the help!

Best,

There is a section just south of Winona that will be very muddy but its passable with some optional tracks if the kudzu isnt too bad.

Thanks for the info.

I'll be on my Super Tenere but running K60's which are a real 50/50 tire.

That being said major mud bogs can stick a big bike like that pretty quick.

Hoping the trail will dry a little over the next week or two.

Best,
Andy
