Coonabarabran ride.

This is just a 'heads up'.

A mate, from the ACT and not on here, is in the formative portion of a ride to Coonabarabran. Obviously, a bit of a support effort for the people who've suffered from the fires.

At this point there are no firm commitments.

He's assessing interest.

The proposal is for
* an April or May date;
* donation of $30 into a kity;
* estimated $10 for camping

that's as far as it goes.

I'd expect a mixture of riders - bitumen & all-road tourers mostly.

May there be any interest out there?

We made a pretty good weekend of it when a few of us went to Marysville. Put quite a few dollars into the town and that was appreciated.

PS I recognise that people around Seaton have suffered too but, this idea was commenced last week. It's not my place to suggest the idea be expanded.

Think we can fit this in for a bloody good cause, when I lived in Vic and was I the CFA during Black Saturday the support from all sort of varied groups was fantastic - good idea o this one gents.

Anyone for the Camden area Keen?? Let's get a crew together??
