Grampians Ride
I have a couple of days off so thought I would head to Grampians for a look, leaving Wedesday and will head home Friday.
Can anyone suggest good campsite's, rides/roads, places to look at while I'm there etc. I'm riding a DL650 and will be on my own so nothing too off the beaten track. Also best route from Melb other than straight up the hwy. Cheers

maps
I think if you get a good map of the area and just explore you will have a nice time.
We did a ride around the SW corner of the Grampians a few months ago, more or less just following tracks that looked interesting. Do you have a GPS? We could probably rustle up a few GPX files for you on the Green Triangle thread. Rose's Gap is a scenic area. Ride over to Rocklands reservoir to the West of the hills. track around wartook reservoir. How to get to Grampians from the city. Geelong , GOR,Skenes creek, Gellibrand ,Colac, Mt Bolac, Wickliffe, Willaura. Yarram park to the Serra Range. Play! |
