Got out for a little ride today............

Sun was shining, wind was blowing, and the bikes just wouldn't stay in the garage.
begeberg led us around the flat lands of Central IL

William bowing to the Husky Gods

Everybody has their camera out....... what could be so special

Oh, now I see ........ It's William and his trusty steed ........, a modern day Don Quixote

Keith and Brian making up our mind on which way to turn

Heated gear was the hot ticket for the day, and a good ride was had by all.

I've Been Everywhere Man

I just finished making a video that I've been working on for a long time. I put it on Utube and it's the first one I've ever done. Please take a look at it and see what you think. Thanks.

Acrobatic show be damned....

Was just demonstrating my ice racing cornering technique. Back in the great white north, there were no roads when I was a kid and I had to ride my motorcycle to school on frozen rivers. Ten miles up hill - both ways. Now you try and make a river do that.

Question Following begeberg around Sunday

We met at Keith's place for this ride. Keith noted that Brian slagged my new Husky in record time.

Gary showed up on a KTM. The KTM wasn't pink and he wasn't wearing a tutu. I am so confused.

I rode in the rear so Brian would not have to look at my unworthy Husky.

We noticed that Gary tried to hide the KTM behind all the other bikes.

Now this road doesn't look so bad. I was wondering how well the Metzeler Shahras would do on mud. My very limited prior experience was negative. This little section of road demonstrated that at least for me they don't work in mud. Brain and Keith had time for a nice nap by the time I caught up to them.

We'll be down to see you soon enough! The Herrick / Ramsey / Cowden area is a favorite of mine.

vfrpilot knows and loves riding through every swamp, bog, mud hole, slime pit and creek crossing down in that area. He also likes hills with lots of gravel and large rocks on them. But what he enjoys most is leading unsuspecting riders through them. He will give a subdued warning. It will go something like this. "There might be a little mud on a couple of sections." Or. "There is one small creek crossing". Shit, he had us crossing a river in Missouri! He spends hours finding the most difficult places to ride.
