A dakar tatoo, cool. Here is my dog, her name is Dakar. She is glad the rally is over I am sure as she keeps hearing her name on the TV and getting confused.

So, here I was fighting my PDD (Post Dakar Depression) and then I hear that Lyndon is pondering to have a go at the Romaniacs!

Let me put it this way - I'm looking forward to lay my hands on the next awesome support package! =)

Pyndon, this has been really quite awe inspiring, what an extraordinary achievement. We look forward to more of the same in the future.

We loved the pre Dakar presentation that you gave to the Oxford TRF group and look forward to setting up a post Dakar one!

Well done Lyndon! I'm very very impressed. Looking forward to your talk at the West Yorks. TRF in March.

Thumbs up to your dad and Ivan too.

Thanks for lighting up the dark January days in the grim north.

Congratulations Lyndon. Well done on finishing your first Dakar in an amazing 46th place, a hard earned 20 minutes ahead of your nearest rival! Great work too from your Dad and Support Crew, your family, sponsors and fans.

I got to see you on the podium like I said I would. Dad and Ivan too. A bit far away as you can see so my little camera struggled on max zoom but that's as close as the public could get for that view.

I see you looking down with some concern. Have you just spotted a fuel leak or were you chasing something???

Colorado is a great location for a presentation. And riding is easily arranged.

Hmmm, I thought I'd got away with that. I dropped my finishers medal and it went rolling off down the ramp

My dad had to chase after it, not that's got gravel rash along with the bike and me

Thanks everyone, it's going to take me a while to catch up and make any significant posts but I'll get around to it I promise.

Thanks for all your offers of beer too but as most of my closest riding friends will know I don't drink much. I love to eat though ;-)

Catch ya soon folks.
