Anybody knocking around central Mexico right now?

So I'm on vacation until February 12th and had planned to go to Guatemala with a friend, but things got in the way so he had to cancel on me.

Anybody around central Mexico looking for someone to ride with or share costs with or something? I'd like to head to the southeast- Oaxaca/Chiapas/Yucatan or Guatemala. Looking to go someplace warmer/more interesting than the freezing pit of Toluca that I live in.

For those who care, I ride an 1100GS, so I tend to avoid true offroad terrain, but this being Mexico I take what comes my way. And I speak Spanish.

I will be ready to go in a couple of days, probably Thursday or Friday at the latest.

We are in La Manzanilla till Saturday then heading south to Mazanillo for a coupla days then heading south west east northish kinda down sideways etc ... generally aiming south tho.

Maybe we can catch up, we stay out of sandpits but don't shy way from shingle roads etc, we are two up on 950SE

Got it too, there are a few other riders ahead of us in the bottom of Mexico, Guatamala, Nic and Hond we can put you in touch with them too if you want?.

Yeah that'd be great, thanks. Especially those that are still in Mexico. I have to be back at work in Toluca on Feb 11th, so I can't venture too far south, but I'd like to get to Tikal at least.

Man, you're killing me with that screen name. I will probably take off this weekend, maybe Sunday, maybe Monday.
