Uraling BAJA

Hey Baja Riders!

About 2 months ago I got a '11 Ural "T". I've been on the road for about 1 month, starting in FL, traveling up North to MA, then to ND, entering Canada and returning to the U.S. in ID. Now I'm close to Clear Lake in CA and thinking about going South to BAJA.

I have never been there, don't intend to make a huge research project for my Baja trip. Nevertheless, I am very interested in important or valuable information to travel into this area.

Thank you for all your support and information in advance!
Most of the time I'm camping out on my cross-country-trip.

Depending on how things go I might develop a motivation to share my experiences after the trip.

Im getting some great info in the thread called 'baja in december your 2c' or close to that anyway.

Ive never been down that way but from what ive gatherd so far..............

Need a Map
Big Gas Tank
Mex Insurance
Medical Insurance
Dollars
Tools n spares
Tooth brush

Everything else I consider detail and an option.....

Not good behavior of mine... Thanks for your posts guys! I wasn't in the forum for more than a year... lol.
I didn't make it to Baja in 2011. At least I got to circumnavigate the US. This year I'm planning Alcan, just started to search the forum. Thanks again for your input in 2011 :-)

You will enjoy Baja...I wanted to make my first trip on a 1995 Ural I used to own. Maybe one day I will buy a Ural and make that trip. I say you go for it and have a great time!!!!
