I met a couple of riders on Santiago Peak today. Said they came up through Maple Springs and that the gate was open.

I am going to the peak, probably around 7ish. Ill be eating tacos at cooks corner at 6 with some friends. Can't miss us. 3 KLRS. One red, one green, one pink.

LOL! Hey guys, Just got off the phone with the ranger. ALL gates are open (except Indian Truck). Anyone up for a Wednesday night ride? I'm itching to test out my Squadron headlamp.

The road to get to santiago peak was blocked. Got all the way up to the top of maple springs and when we turned right the gate was closed.

Edit: Nevermind after looking, we went down the entrance to harding instead.

Well damn Para, if you would have posted you were unfamiliar with the area, I would have been more motivated to get off my mountain watching the sunset, and went and rode with you.

Might be up for tonight and tomorrow night. The rain is on its way Thursday so dickwad will probably close those recently opened gates. Been a while since we actually got to ride to the top.

I have been up there a couple times, but always from the corona side. This was my first time going up (not down) maple spring. I didn't even know the harding trail was there because you have to zoom in really close on google maps. So when I hit it I was a bit confused. I would have been fine in the light.

Well I'm rolling up through Maple Springs in a few hours. I'm not chancing waiting till tomorrow. Ranger told me the other day, first sign of rain and the gates will be closed!

I will be at the gate around 6 or 7.
