Aux Driving Lights - Anyone Seen or Used These

Looking for some aux driving lights. Looking at PIAA 520 or 1100x extreme whites. Had 1100's on my Tiger and loved them. Ran across these:

Anyone seen or used these guys??? Made by KiWAV and sold on Amazon, eBay and direct from KiWAY. They use an H3 bulb at 55w but even the writing is Chinese That mount gismo swivels so they sure would be easy to mount on my crash bars.

$170 for pair, no wiring, but that ain't a bad thing. I'd just wire them through my junction box to a relay with high beam being the trigger. Pretty easy to wire and no CAN-BUS issues. Got an HID high beam and want to get rid of that initial delay.

I had a look at the ebay add, they state fog lights in the description and spot lights in the techical detail. I find errors like that bring up warning flags in my mind.

I like HID better, lower power, more light. Apparrently LED is getting much better too. My HID driving lights are 4 inch reflectors, 1 flood, 1 spot with ballasts built in. They are a chinese brand and have been fine.

Might want to look into LED technology. Weve been have great success with them and you can get a set for around 250 with wiring harness.

For that price, you might want to consider Hella Micro DE fog lights that also take H3 bulbs. Complete kit for $131, including shipping.

Have a look at the Rigid Industries Dually lights which are LED. They only draw 15 watts, have instant-on, and are incredibly rugged. We've sold quite a few of these.

Do a google search on them or PM if you have any questions. I've installed quite a few of these on GSA's.

Way too expensive. But, I acknowledge, looks clean

The housing itself looks to me to be similar to Optilux series, which work well and are (I think) in $80 range. You can also get the excellent Hella Micro DE for about $100 a pair (I just sold a pair to an inmate here for about $60, without wiring kit).

I dry-tested them, shining onto garage door against other lamps and they are fairly decent, especially in their role as a conspicuity light. I took a lot of comparison shots and will post later.

PIAA has a clamp bar mount similar to what the other lights have, about $40.

Thanks guys. Right now I'm not fully sold on LED's. Not looking for an on all the time "look out, here I am" kind of light. My low beam is an HID and people definitely know I'm around. My Tiger's high beam totally sucked but when I put a pair of PIAA 1100's hooked to the high beam, light was not an issue. Not looking for a flood eithe, that HID takes care of everything close in. I'm looking for a spot for down the road light. If worse comes to worse, I'll get another pair of them or 510/520 PIAA's. Those Magazi's just look very easy to mount and probably will be good looking on the bike. I just don't know if they are any good.

Take a look at these from ADVmonster. Especially the new ones he just put on the web site; the M61, M62 and the M64. They have a night shot of their beam pattern - not bad and the price is right for the lumens.
