The DFW Second Saturday (formerly First Friday) Beer Meet/RTE Thread!

Okay, kids. There was a push to move the First Friday meets to Saturdays -- hence, "Second Saturday" -- so here ya go!

Next Saturday will be the first meet of the New Year, so I'm gonna be really lazy on this one.

JANUARY BEER MEET -- Saturday, January 12 (6pm-whenever)

@ Flip's Patio Grill (415 W State Highway 114, Grapevine, TX)

Small turnout this time around -- only me, EG, and a lurker and his racing buddy. Great dudes, great conversation. (And Flip's burgers are pretty damn good!)

C'mon, people -- if two guys who aren't even registered yet can show up, where was everyone else!?

Haha, I had planned on making it out to my first Beer Meet but in a surprising turn of events my neighbor offered to babysit so my wife insisted I take her to see Django Unchained (it's rare we get to go to the movies)...

Hey all. Sorry, I've been trying to make one of these for months, life has been unkind with the scheduling. I had to be in Austin this last time the recent one was scheduled for, maybe the ADV gods will be kind this time around for Feb. Cheers.
