Still won't run?.........Those things have a habit of breaking the Rotary Valve. I had a KE175 in my shop that drove me nuts. That was the problem.

If the Planets are all lined up. Moon in proper phase. Relative Humidity in check. Relative Humility in check. You may still be fucked if the Whizzenator fails to circumnavigate the Motengable within the predescribed Longitudinal Orbit with respect to Bergundian Pitch and Yaw of course. Jeebus, it won't rev up and now will only idle for about a minute. It gets boggy from 1/2 throttle up and puts the smoke cloud down. I have new points, new coil, new ignition(key), the exhaust is not plugged, I have put the needle in every position possible, tried every increment on the fuel screw. The rotary valve looks ok, but that doesn't mean anything because I don't know what its supposed to look like. Since its none of those, it must be that the schewgner valve being installed in the counter-clockwise plane.

It may be Genetic or it may even be Generic or possibly even Geriatric but I didn't want to confuse the issue. I know Superpac is a nice guy and all young and tender. He hasn't reached the advanced level of depravity that some of us operate at. I hate working on Kawasaki's, they are so complicated. If you want to get all technical there is a possibility that in the process of fiddling he may have gotten the Transgender Labia Diffuser out of Sync which would among other things cause a disruption in the Androgenous Metamorphic Classification. As you know the only way to tell if this happened is to hook it to a Hermaphroditic Defibrillation Scope which are extreemely hard to read unless you are flatulent in at least three languages. There is a translation module available however it is rarely cost effective. Some people have been known to just Man up and reach down into the problem but you run the risk of ending up with much more of a handful than you were expecting. That is the Horror that I was trying to save Superpac from. Such a thing could scar him for life. All this time you were thinking "It's just a little bike. Pour gas in turn on switch kick over...Suck, Squeeze, Bang, Blow...and away you go". It's much deeper than that. Banjo's just make it hard to concentrate.

Have you pressurized the Crankcase to make sure you don't have a failed Crank Seal ? It doesn't take much Gear Oil to make a hell of a cloud and you will never Jet that problem away.

Crank seal(s) like my genetic/geriatric/gentle/genital/genial/gelatin cousin said. Do a leak down test. Also, check the inner rotary valve cover seal - this separates the slick stiff from the combustible stuff. Pull the carb, then pull the cover the carb hooks to - it ought to have a good gasket seal all around it to keep oil out and air/fuel in.

If you took the rotary valve apart, it is possible to put the plate back in upside down and backwards on some of the Cow-a-socky models. Never worked on an 80, though.

Sounds a lot like an induction problem to me. Either it's sucking gear oil in a big way or the rotary valve doo-hicky ain't valving like ought to be.

I assume you have good compression and didn't bust a (the?) ring?

All else fails, get a Hodaka!
