I don't doubt it will be a great bike, but I don't see anything revolutionary about it that hasn't been done on the MS already. And too much tech gadgetry is not necessarily a plus in this class if you lean on the adv side of the riding spectrum.

The MS!
Is a street bike. Different as apples and oranges. 17 inch front wheels don't cut it in the dirt world. The GS is a real Adventure Bike as is the 990 KTM Adv, Yamaha S10, Triumph 800s etc.

Oh no indeed. One of the most independent, accurate and entertaining voices in the bike writing business. I hadn't realised until I saw this that his was the report I was looking forward to most. He'll be missed, a lot.
