Shipper needed
Looking for assistance in sourcing a reliable shipping company to ship a large (2X3X5ft 200 pound plus) crate located in Sun Lakes/Chandler. Crated item is a Unigo Trailer. I most likely can deliver the crate to the local shipper.
Trying to do this by phone from Anchorage, AK. could benefit from the local inmate brain trust. ![]() ![]() ![]() Crate needs to be shipped to Spearfish, South Dakota. Anybody out there in the shipping business, or know someone??? I need phone numbers/contacts. Thanks in advance. Fite

I highly recommend Federal :
800.747.4100 http://www.funtransport.com/ They are affiliated with Allied Van Lines. It doesn't get any more reliable than this. The number above is for the motorcycle shipping division but they might be ( probably will be ) willing to ship your crated trailer. They palletize what they ship so it can be loaded and unloaded easily. These people do what they say they will do and they show up on time and you can track the progress of the shipment via a link they email you. It works like you'd want it to work. They are one of a very few shippers who are approved by the AMA, you can go to the AMA website and verify this. The AMA is very selective with respect to which shippers it approves, and you will not see Uship on the AMA list, for good reasons. Their rates tend to be competitive and only slightly higher than the least expensive and much more sketchy outfits you might find on Uship.com. I have been burned by Uship, and badly, and I will never ever use Uship again. Don't say I didn't warn you about Uship. If it sounds like I have a chip on my shoulder about Uship, I do. They told me THREE times they were coming to pick up a bike and every time they did not show up. Then they refused to refund my $110 reservation fee. Enough about that, my blood pressure is going up ... . It'sNotTheBike screwed with this post 01-23-2013 at 11:57 AM |

burned by them? They seem to just be a bidding site where brokers and shippers can contact buyers.. Sounds like you had a bad experience with a particular shipper..anyone you find independently will most likely place bids on that website as well..anyways glad to hear it wasn't worse (like damage stuff or stolen stuff) |
