Orygun folks will be watching you,,and any FF that you interact with,,automatically suspect and in need of scrutiny,,
you wanna consider what is at stake when you involve Oregonoes,, ![]() To your east, where they grow food, there is a viable mentality ,,but most of warshinton's money comes from sucking the federal teat,,fuck them wheat growers, loggers, and cattle ranchers,,spend yer gov't allowance on planes that catch fire while sitting parked on the runway. NOT!

Where to ride?
I used the "kinda sunny" Saturday and >45F weather today to get some saddle time. Went out towards Rainier and stopped at Crystal mountain. Kinda pretty but flat and straight. Today went out 3/106/101 (?) I think... through Gig Harbor and Belair and Union and down to Olympia and back up 5 to Tacoma. Some glimpses of the mountains, but overall strip malls and run-down "beach towns" and overall not so pretty. Also flat and straight. Apparently I'm doing it wrong. Help me -- good day rides in the Tacoma/Olympia/Seattle AO? Rain/cold doesn't really bother me.

You're pushing the season a little; each of those forays get good in the spring/summer when the snow is gone. From Union you can go over forest road 23 from the Skokomish estuary all the way to hwy 101 on the coast, and get good and lost on many lesser roads in between. If you go towards Tahuya and take the road to Dewatto, look across the canal from there, you will think you are in southeast Alaska. Go north to Holly and Seabeck from there. __________________________ From Crystal you can go over Cayuse Pass and down to Randle, on fs 23 to Cougar or Carson and spend several days in there. Or go over Chinook and enter heaven [or close too it]. yer snowed out yet. There's a good south sound group on here, post up and meet some people. |
